In Addis Ababa City Administration, the Directorate of Non-motorized Transport Expansion Directorate has held discussions with an international organization called GDCI and local stakeholders to promote bicycle transport in the capital city. Addis Ababa City Administration Transport Bureau Director of Motorless Transport Expansion, Engineer Kejela Mekonon, who is working hard to expand bicycle transport in the capital city and the development of the corridor started in the city, brought up the good opportunity brought by the necessary legal frameworks, operating manuals and procedures, and awareness activities to support this.
