The Addis Ababa Traffic Management Authority has carried out several engineering works in the recently inaugurated Arada Park

(T/M/B April 26/2018 A.D.):- The Addis Ababa Traffic Management Authority has carried out international standard painting works in the city with a 7/24 work culture of solid and broken lines, pedestrian crossing zebras, running tracks and bicycle lanes, traffic signs and indicators, parking service parking, and the construction of speed bumps, etc.

Accordingly, in the Piazza Arada Park, which was inaugurated and opened for service by His Excellency Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) a few days ago, 10.2 km of running tracks, bicycle lanes, pedestrian and vehicle movement paths have been painted with road markings that prohibit, enforce and inform, according to Engineer Merga Sefera, Head of the Road Safety Engineering Department of the Ministry of Transport.
According to Engineer Merga, additional international signs and indicator poles have been installed in the park so that their signs are visible and clear to drivers, pedestrians and cyclists.

It was also noted that at the end of the month, a standard parking lot painting project was carried out at the public transport terminal prepared by the city administration to provide services for more than 32 vehicles at the Mulugeta Zeleke Building in Bole Sub-city.
Engineer Merga indicated that as the city prepares to host international and continental political, economic and diplomatic meetings, and the city administration strives to make the city as beautiful as it is, the Addis Ababa Traffic Management Authority will play its part by being present in advance.
