The Addis Ababa Corridor Development and Redevelopment Project is not designed to discourage small businesses, but to rebuild them in a more modern, attractive and consumer-friendly way.
In total, we have built about 5,490 new shops and have relocated the existing ones from the road setback and rebuilt them in a new form. Of these, about 2,800 were newly built, while the remaining 2,690 were relocated from the road setback and rebuilt in their original form.
Of this, 55 percent of the construction was carried out by the owners, while the rest was built by the government and handed over to developers who were trading in the kebele and housing corporations.
We are also organizing and organizing those who are willing to take land to build it through auctions.
Therefore, we have made our city easier, more attractive and convenient for business, but business activity has not been weakened. Just like we did in other corridors, we hosted the inauguration of the Victory Plaza and the banks of the Kurtumi River yesterday evening. Businesses that previously sprang up due to the corridor development from Bole Atlas to Brass Road have now successfully started their operations in this plaza.

የአዲስ አበባ የኮሪደር ልማትና መልሶ ማልማት ስራ አነስተኛ ቢዝነሶችን የሚያዳክም ሳይሆን፣ ይበልጥ ዘመናዊ፣ ለስራ እና ለሸማቹ ሳቢ በሆነ መንገድ መልሶ በመገንባት የተሰራ ነው።
በአጠቃላይ እስከ አሁን በሰራነው 5 ሺህ 490 ያህል አዳዲስ ንግድ ሱቆችን የገነባን እና ነባሮቹንም ከመንገድ setback ወደ ኋላ በመሳብ እንደገና በአዲስ መልክ እንዲገነቡ ያደረግን ሲሆን ከእነዚህም ውስጥ 2 ሺህ 800 ያህሉ እንደ አዲስ የተገነቡ፣ ቀሪዎቹ 2 ሺህ 690 ደግሞ ከመንገድ setback ወደ ኋላ በመሳብ እንደገና በነበሩበት ቦታ በአዲስ መልክ ደረጃቸውን በማሻሻል የተገነቡ ናቸው።
ከዚህ ውስጥ 55 በመቶ የሚሆነው ግንባታ በባለቤቶቹ የተከናወነ ሲሆን ቀሪውን በቀበሌ እና በቤቶች ኮርፓሬሽን ውስጥ ሲነግዱ ለነበሩ መንግስት ገንብቶ ለልማት ተነሺዎች ያስረከባቸው ናቸው።
እንዲሁም መሬት ለመውሰድ ፍቃደኛ የሆኑት ደግሞ በአከሲዮን ተደራጅተው እንዲገነቡ እያደረግን ነው።
በመሆኑም ከተማችንን ለንግድ ስራ ቀላል፣ ይበልጥ ሳቢና ምቹ አደረግናት እንጂ የቢዝነስ እንቅስቃሴው እንዲዳከም አልተደረገም። ልክ በሌሎቹ ኮሪደሮች እንዳደረግነው ሁሉ ትላንት ማምሻውን በይፋ ክፍት የተደረገው የድል ፕላዛ እና የቁርጡሚ ወንዝ ዳርቻ የልማት ተነሺዎችን አስተናግደንበታል ። ቀደም ሲል ከቦሌ አትላስ እስከ ብራስ መንገድ በኮሪደር ልማቱ ምክንያት ተነስተው የነበሩ የንግድ ተቋማት፣ አሁን በዚሁ ፕላዛ ውስጥ ስራቸውን በስኬት ጀምረዋል።
