More than 2.6 million road users have been served by the Automatic Enforcement and Parking Management System

(T/M/B March 9/1018 A.D.):- Since the Addis Ababa Traffic Management Authority implemented the system in March/2017 A.D., more than 2.3 million users have been served by the parking management system; 301 thousand traffic violators have been served by the parking management system.
In particular, 416 associations have been organized in more than 2000 parking spaces under the parking management system and more than 4000 youth have been provided with employment opportunities through this system.
With the implementation of the system, the inconvenience and inconvenience of paying for parking services and traffic control work have been reduced.


In the first five violations identified as the main cause of traffic accidents, 78,947 drivers were caught speeding, 1,087 were caught drinking, and 9,030 were caught using a mobile phone while texting or reading.
120 were caught riding a motorcycle without a helmet or without checking that the person riding with them was wearing one, 3,317 were caught not wearing a seat belt or without checking that the passengers were wearing a seat belt; and 10,001 drivers were caught running a red light.
The authority is providing 82 percent of its total services through system technology, and a survey conducted six months into the fiscal year confirmed that customer satisfaction has improved.
