Road Safety Awareness Campaign Launched in January to Reduce Traffic Accidents
(T/Maba January 1/205) The Addis Ababa Traffic Management Authority, in collaboration with the Addis Ababa Police Headquarters, will provide road safety education to the community throughout the month of January on the streets, in schools, religious institutions, terminals and crowded places.
The Deputy Director General, Ato Amare Tarekne, said that the launch program of this program was held at Meskel Square.
The Authority will also conduct the awareness program throughout the month of January, including monitoring outside regular working hours until 6:00 pm.
He added that the goal of the program is to prevent traffic accidents by reaching out to the community and educating them.
