The Authority has signed an agreement with Staket Bank Stock Company to expand the payment options for drivers’ traffic violation fines

(T/M/B December 08/2018) :- The Addis Ababa Traffic Management Authority has signed an agreement with Staket Bank Stock Company today to expand the payment options for drivers’ traffic violation fines in person and through the system, in addition to the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia and Ethio Telecom telebank services.
According to the Director General of the Authority, Ato Kbebe Mideksa, the need to link traffic fine payments with banks is to reduce congestion and provide efficient service by making the service easily available to users through the system.

He added that the Authority is working hard to ensure peaceful and acceptable traffic movement in the city, and one of its main tasks is to enforce traffic laws and regulations.
He also said that the signing of the agreement with Stake Bank today will help the Authority provide effective services.
On his part, Stake Bank President Ato Damtew Alemayehu stated that Stake Bank is providing efficient and quality services through technology, and indicated that they are ready to work closely with the Authority in this regard.
Finally, the Authority and Stake Bank senior management signed the agreement after discussing the implementation procedures and reaching an agreement.
