Unique LED traffic signs and signals installed in the city

(T/M/B February 10/2018 AD):- The Addis Ababa Traffic Management Authority is installing LED traffic signs and signals at various intersections, squares, pedestrian crossings (zebras), railway crossings and similar places in the corridor development projects that have been started and completed and are still being implemented.
The institution has installed modern LED traffic signs and signals with 24/7 working principle in the recently completed Bole-Urael Coder Development and other roads in the city.

The installed speed limit, speed limit and parking areas for drivers; Mandatory and informative signs and signals prohibiting stopping are also included.
Engineer Merga Sefera, Director of the Road Safety Engineering Directorate of the Authority, emphasized the importance of LED signs and signals, saying that drivers of the city should be aware of dangers and avoid traffic; respect traffic signs and drive according to the law.

The unique LED signs that are being installed recently are more visible and help drivers pay attention and drive more efficiently, Engineer Merga said, adding that the signs are different from the previous ones and have contributed to the beauty of the city in addition to safety.
He further stated that they have completed preparations to install street lights on roads and other areas of the city that do not have them, and urged drivers to protect themselves and their loved ones from traffic accidents by respecting the posted traffic signs and obeying traffic laws.
