Prosperity Party won the majority of seats in Addis Ababa regional council elections

The Prosperity Party won the majority seat in the Addis Ababa Regional Council Election. The Ethiopian National Election Board has scheduled the notification of the results of the 7th general election. The board announced the candidates who won the majority of seats in the voting process of the 7th general election held in Addis Ababa constituency on May 24, 2018. Out of 158 seats offered to the regional council in 10 constituencies in Addis Ababa, the board announced that the Prosperity Party won 134 seats while Ezema won 8 seats. According to the results of the 7th general election announced by the board:- 👉 Number of Addis Ababa constituencies - 10 👉 Total number of seats in the regional council - 158 👉 Prosperity Party - 134 seats 👉 Izema Party - 8 seats 👉 One Ethiopia Democratic Party - 4 seats 👉 Renaissance Party - 2 seats 👉 Oromo Freedom Front - 2 seats 👉 Cooperation for Ethiopian Unity - 2 Seats 👉 Peace to Ethiopia Coalition - 2 seats 👉 Wolaita People's Freedom Movement - 1 seat 👉 Amhara National Movement - 1 seat 👉 Wolo People's Democratic Party - 1 seat 👉 Ato Daniel Getash Garedew private candidate - 1 seat, the board announced. In the 7th general election held in Addis Ababa, 1 million 957 thousand 676 voters registered to vote, and 96 hundred of them voted by attending polling stations. AMN
