Addis Ababa's traffic control and parking management system has been shifted from manual to digital. AMN – December 24/2017, the Addis Ababa traffic management authority announced that the city's traffic control and parking management system has been upgraded and completed for implementation. The authority, along with a software development company called Infra Tech, has launched a system where drivers who violate the city's traffic rules pay their fines and parking fees using the technology. Addis Ababa Traffic Management General Director Ato Kbebew Mideksa said that the technology has changed the traffic fines and parking service payments that were carried out by the pad to a digital one, which will eliminate the abuse of the customer and save more than 17 million birr spent on the printing of the pad every year.
