INVITATION FOR INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIVE BID (ICB)

For the procurement of "Road Marking Work with Different Road Marking Material in Addis Ababa"

Addis Ababa Traffic Management Authority (AATMA) invites all interested and eligible bidders by this International competitive bid (ICB) for the procurement of the below LOT:-

LOT 1:- Thermoplastic Road marking Work East-West region of Addis Ababa

LOT 2:- Thermoplastic Road marking Work North - South region of Addis Ababa

A complete set of bidding document can be obtained from the Authority Finance directorate, Equatorial Guinea street (22 Mazoria), Meklit Building, 10th floor, room number 10-02 during office hours from 8:30 A.M to 12:30 A.M in the morning and from 1:30 P.M to 5:30 P.M in the afternoon (Monday to Friday) up on payment of a non-refundable fee of 600 (Six hundred) birr only. Bidders have required fulfilling the following Documents:-

1. Bidders should have valid and renewed trade and registration license for the current year.

2. Bidders should have VAT and TIN certificate.

 

3. Bidders should present valid and renewed tax clearance certificate and renewed certificate of competence or related professional practice for the year.

4. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Five Hundred thousand Birr (500,000 ETB) for each Lot in the form of CPO or unconditional bank guarantee.

5. Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 (one Hundred twenty) days after the Bid submission deadline.

6. A minimum of relevant related professional practice certificate, General Contractor Grade 1 or Road Traffic Safety Sign Contractor Grade 1 shall be required, and the bidder must submit the required legal, professional and experience testimonies of the firm. Failing to submit a complete document of the above competency level requirement will result in rejection from the bid.

7. Bidders should submit one original and two copies of technical and financial proposal documents in separate sealed envelopes, duly marking the envelopes as "ORIGINAL" and "COPY". All technical and financial documents with the bid security will be presented in one big envelope duly marking the envelope as "BID PROPOSAL".

8. All bids must be submitted on or before March 26th 2026 until 2:00 P.M to the authority's procurement directorate office 10th floor room number 10-01 and the bid will be opened in the presence of all bidders and/or their representatives at 2:30 P.M at the same date. 9. The authority reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
