(Ahadu Radio) - The Addis Ababa Police General Department has announced that it is conducting technical inspections on vehicles to prevent traffic accidents that occur during the winter season. Chief Inspector Kenenisa Chaka, Head of Public Awareness and Traffic Professional Development at the Addis Ababa Police General Department, told Ahadu that rain wipers, vehicle tires and lights are being inspected. The chief inspector also said that technical problems of vehicles account for the maximum number of accidents that occur during winter. He pointed out that in order to reduce the traffic accidents that occur in winter, all the sub-districts of the city have moved, as well as awareness work has been done at stations and schools.
