(T/M/B January 6/2018 A.D.):- The Addis Ababa Traffic Management Authority has freed up 636 underground parking spaces in the city during the first six months of the 2018 fiscal year to provide proper services.
As a result, traffic congestion on the roads where the buildings are located has been reduced and the flow has been made peaceful. In addition, the institution has fully supported the control and parking services out of the 17 services it provides with technology.
In addition, 154 on-street parking spaces have been prepared and 68 informative signs and indicators have been installed indicating that they are parking spaces. Drivers are also being strictly monitored to ensure that they do not park on the roads.
It was also reported that the institution has signed contracts with 154 associations providing services in all cities, creating job opportunities for 1,128 men and 203 women, for a total of 1,331 citizens.
