ከቱሪስት መተላለፊያነት ወደ ቀዳሚ መዳረሻነት የአዲሷ አዲስ አበባ ቱሪዝም ሽግግር ቀደ...

The transition of Addis Ababa tourism from a tourist transit to a primary destination Addis Ababa, the capital of Africa, which was previously known only as a center of politics and diplomacy, today has begun to invite the world with honor as a symbol of beauty, strength and modernity. The development of the corridor occupies the first place among the works that have changed the face of the city. It includes wide paths for pedestrians, cyclists and people with disabilities, making the city very walkable. In addition, the banks of the river, which were previously covered with garbage, have today been transformed into beautiful green parks through the Sheger project. The construction of major tourist attractions such as Friendship Square, Unity Park, Entoto Park, the Grand National Palace, the Science Museum and the Adwa Museum have also enhanced the city's appeal. These new locations have created a significant market boom in the hotel and hospitality sector as international visitors extend their stay in the city. The extension of the tourists' stay and the increase in the number of visitors has increased the country's foreign exchange flow significantly. By making the city smart and beautiful, these comprehensive development projects have created more capacity for Addis Ababa, the capital of Africa, to attract large international gatherings and events. The development works have also contributed a wide role in creating sustainable employment opportunities beyond the tourism sector. They have been able to become a new source of income for thousands of young men and women, especially in park protection, cleaning, tourism and various business shops. As previously indicated in the 9-month plan implementation report presented by the city administration, the new Addis Ababa will continue to be a model of modernity as it has ensured the benefits of its residents and increased its tourism destination.
