The leaders of the authority office discussed the activities carried out in the preparatory phase ************************** (T/M/B September 29/2017) Addis Ababa Traffic Management Authority officials held a wide-ranging discussion while listening to the performance report of the preparation phase of the 2017 fiscal year. The members of the General Council of the Authority discussed today the activities carried out by the Center and Branch Offices in the first quarter of the fiscal year after the Directorate of Service Delivery, Monitoring, Support and Evaluation presented the monitoring and support report. According to the document presented by Mr. Brock Bele, the directorate's senior expert, the purpose of the monitoring and support authority is to help the central directorates and groups and branch offices to prepare a quality plan and submit their plan implementation report in a complete and organized manner. Also, by providing problem-solving monitoring and support in the implementation of change activities and the process of building an effective public service, it is aimed at creating an effective institution by solving the problems of maintenance and service delivery in the institution. According to the checklist prepared by the unit, monitoring and support of various work units in 17 directorates and 11 branch offices at the center level was done and during the preparation phase, they saw the performance of each work unit and pointed out the strength and weakness of the process. Questions, comments and suggestions were made in the report and the director Mr. Goytom Asfaw responded to it. At the conclusion of the discussion, the top leaders have set a direction that the strengths that have been shown should be continued, and the gaps suggested in each department should be urgently adjusted and a better performance should be recorded at the end of the fiscal year.
