Dr. Mandefro Nguse, Chief Executive Officer of the Agricultural Transformation Institute, spoke about the transformation of the agricultural sector.

Dr. Mandefro Nguse, Chief Executive Officer of the Agricultural Transformation Institute, explained the transformation journey of the agricultural sector; He pointed out that Ethiopia has made strategic investments and significant reforms, and the country's agricultural sector has moved away from hand-to-mouth practice and has now shifted from agriculture to commerce and the basis of sovereignty. For this, by designing strategies and policy change frameworks aligned with the 10-year master plan; He stated that by strengthening public, private sector and public partnership, by expanding innovation and agricultural business, and by increasing food sovereignty, the agricultural sector is more productive, market-based, and developed in its ability to withstand natural and man-made crises. Ethiopia, which used to rely heavily on imported products, is now developing domestic substitute products, developing indigenous initiatives like Lemat's legacy, and creating job opportunities for the youth with the help of technology and artificial intelligence. These planned and timely strategic measures are laying the foundation for a sustainable agricultural revolution, rural prosperity and a strong economy, which demonstrate that Ethiopia is moving forward and making tangible changes. ‎ #PMOEthiopia #EthiopiaDelivers
