Addis Ababa; July 15, 2018 (Addis Police):- On July 6, 2018, the perpetrators of the crime, Samuel Dessalen, Yosef Mesfen and Re-Adenu, threatened two people with knives and stole their mobile phones and hid them. The police department of Bethel area, which received a report of the crime, was on the lookout to arrest the perpetrators. On July 8, 2018, the perpetrators were arrested by the policemen when they threatened an individual with a knife and stole a mobile phone from an area called Anfo Rom Sefer in Kolfe Karanio sub-city district 7. The police have arrested Najib Rashid, the thief's receiver who stole the stolen mobile phone from the perpetrators. Following the legal process, the department announced that it found the stolen mobile phones from the three individuals during a search of the individual's mobile phone shop. Apart from these properties, 3 laptops, 2 tablets and 6 smart phones were also found which the person could not provide evidence. The police department has announced that individuals whose laptops and mobile phones have been stolen on various occasions can come to the Bethel area police department in person and take possession of their property by providing the necessary evidence.
