Regarding health issues: We have been able to increase our domestic drug production capacity from 4% to 44%. We have spent over 70 billion birr for the purchase of generic drugs and over 60 billion birr for the purchase of medical equipment. In the past months, we have inaugurated several hospitals and there will be other institutions to be inaugurated in the coming months. The new building, which increased the bed capacity of St. Paul's Hospital by one thousand, is among those that have received attention for the construction process. Locally produced medicines are also designed to be accepted internationally. Our next focus is to build modern and standard hospitals in our country that we see in other countries. On the other hand, in a concerted effort to reduce the incidence of malaria, 14 million mosquito nets were distributed and 3 million homes were sprayed with anti-malarial chemicals.
