Habtamu Getachew, president of the Ethiopian Architects Association, said that the development of the corridor that is being built in Addis Ababa will ensure the transformation of the city and help build a modern city. Mr. Habtamu said that the corridor makes the entrance and exit of the city beautiful and tidy by making the view interesting beyond the road. He said that it will be useful to arrange traffic flow which is the origin of many problems. Currently, most of the roads in the city are not visible. The president said that they do not distinguish where they start and where they end. He pointed out that the pedestrian and bicycle paths that will be built will be useful in protecting the health of the society by creating a clean and breezy environment. Cities are growing and expanding, and as the population increases, the core of the city, where everything is located, is becoming less and less. On the other hand, centers that provide access to the services needed by different communities are expected to be located in close proximity. These are the corridors that are being built now..
