Mayor Adanech Abebe inaugurated Gulele integrated development works in Gulele sub-district, Enteto area and opened it for service today. The projects create employment opportunities for local residents who are mainly engaged in picking wood from the local forest and are development works that are started and completed in a short period of time. Integrated development of Gulele includes:- 1. Gulele residential village – built at the expense of the city administration to increase the supply of housing in our city. – Five buildings with 5 floors – 200 households – All the houses are modern, and the residential village includes beautiful landscaped areas – Totally 14 thousand 625 square meters. It has created job opportunities for 551 mothers who are managed by picking – The bread center includes two bakery buildings, a nursery, a grain store, a mill and various service centers – It is equipped with 450 modern bread baking pans – A modern dough making machine – A modern dough making machine – Two mills – 551 mothers work in two shifts – The mothers who have been given employment in the bread center are mothers who previously worked by picking wood in the area, who had no income and the pressure of living has increased – It is a center that rests on 10,000 square meters 3. Gulele Dairy Center – Dairy Cow Shed – Feed storage warehouse – It includes a calf house, workers accommodation and toilet – At present, 48 dairy cows have been purchased and started working with the support of volunteer investors – Local residents who are unemployed in dairy cow breeding have organized into 4 associations and started working. 4. Road Construction of a modern 2.5 km asphalt road to increase road connectivity has been completed. In total, 1533 residents have been created job opportunities through this integrated development works.
