Today we received guests from various African countries and international institutions to learn from the work we are doing in the area of generation building. We set a clear vision to make Addis Ababa the best African city for raising children, and based on that, by 2018, 1.3 million children who have no income and 330 thousand low-income mothers and children will receive nutrition, education, health and psychological development directly. We are making sure that they get support. This work of generation building is applied to children from the fetus to six years old. Until now, we have trained 5000 professionals who provide counseling services to mothers and put them to work. With the results achieved so far, we have transferred health facilities to be convenient for children's health services, trained teachers to teach children through play, built more than 597 kindergartens in private and public institutions, constructed 305 playgrounds for children to play, and identified and closed 114 roads so that they can be used for the children of our city. :: We will continue to work diligently to make Addis Ababa the best African city for raising children, and where parents and guardians can raise their children with knowledge and achieve the title of tradition.
