Assessment of the implementation of the authority's plan for the fiscal year 2016 was conducted. The traffic management authority of Addis Ababa city administration has conducted an assessment of the overall plan implementation in the 2016 fiscal year by members of the evaluation team from the public service and human resources development office of Addis Ababa city administration. At the beginning of the evaluation, the director general of the authority office, Ato Kbebewu Mideksa, said that the institution is working to reduce the death, physical injury and property damage caused by traffic accidents to citizens by applying the best practices of road safety at the city level. He recalled that the institute is working in coordination with 13 stakeholders working in the sector to ensure the goal of ensuring road safety according to international standards in the city's 2030 strategic plan (long-term plan). Therefore, the Director-General stated that the importance of the assessment to further strengthen the effective works done in the fiscal year and to obtain better results by taking input for the next fiscal year is very important. Among the evaluation questions raised by the evaluation team, the activities performed in terms of establishing the vision, mission and values of the institution to the employees from the point of view of management, the process with solidarity date, peer form and the communication and procedure of the general council members of the institution are mentioned. Also, the level of monitoring and support from the center to the branch offices, plan and report execution, works done in terms of fulfilling work resources and creating a comfortable workplace, communication and communication methods of users and stakeholders, modern technology communication in terms of raising service standards and other works were seen. Finally, the assessment process was completed by discussing the summary of the assessment in the presence of the senior management of the institution and reaching an agreement.
