The Prosperity Party accepted this great public trust without being proud of its success, correcting its shortcomings and serving the people sincerely and with the firm belief to prove its word with action. For this great honor, we accept the democratic contract given to us by the entire Ethiopian people with great humility and great respect. This thank you message is not only for the citizens who voted for us. Instead, it includes all the citizens who exercised their rights by choosing the option they wanted, and who played their part in making the process legal and peaceful, even if they refused to vote with their card. Because the participation of every citizen has made our country's democracy a real winner. There is a fundamental truth that needs to be clearly identified in this election process: The fact that the Prosperity Party won the majority of votes and won the right to form a government is considered a great opportunity as a party that is making a successful journey towards the vision of ensuring the universal prosperity of Ethiopia. The completion of the election as completely peaceful, free, fair and credible is proof of the strategic victory of our dear country Ethiopia and all its people! This election was not a typical political contest or current event. This election is a great historical achievement that has destroyed internal and external conspiracy networks, highlighted Ethiopia's sovereignty in practice, and enhanced the maturity of our democratic institutions. This historic event, which Ethiopia did without being defeated by any external pressure, completely with its own universal capacity, confirmed indigenous democracy and continental sovereignty, and has become a pride and example for the whole of Africa. The participation of more than 54 million citizens shows the political vigilance of our people, and it has been proven in practice that respecting the voice of the people and the sovereign will is the primary duty of the government and any political actor. In the election, the machinations and manipulations of Ethiopia's enemies to disrupt the country have been made completely dependent on the maturity of our people. The confirmation of this historic success and Ethiopia's victory cannot be imagined without the struggle of stakeholders. Therefore, the prosperity of our party offers its greatest thanks and respect to all those who contributed to the success of the election. Especially in this historical election process where the people of Ethiopia have demonstrated their unshakable commitment to build the country's existence and democracy on a solid foundation, especially on the day of the election, from 10 o'clock at night, he did not give up his feet, but led it with a vision, overcoming cold and fatigue with national love, lined up tirelessly for 24 hours until 10 o'clock the next day, with great patience and discipline. The National Election Board of Ethiopia, by leading the entire election process with absolute neutrality, high professionalism, patience and legal principles, deserves great praise and thanks for proving Ethiopia's institutional independence before the world. The participation of 42 competing political parties and more than 10,000 candidates in the process allowed our people to weigh options widely. Therefore, you have resisted the lies that were blowing from outside and inside, and your commitment to the peaceful competition of ideas and the rule of law has laid a great foundation for the flourishing of Ethiopia's democratic culture. You deserve great honor and praise because you are people who respect people's sovereignty and are fighters for the politics of ideas. The federal and state security and safety institutions have fulfilled a great responsibility by working day and night, making sacrifices and steadfastly protecting the country from the forces of destruction so that the people can go out and cast their votes freely without fear.
