The baptism festival is not only for the followers of the Ethiopian Orthodox religion, but it is attended by many international visitors and is one of the highlights and world treasures of our city, which is registered as an intangible heritage by UNESCO. We have discussed with the fathers of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church and the preparation committee of the baptism festival so that the baptism festival can be celebrated in a beautiful and respectful manner in all places. In our discussion, we have seen that the whole event is going on successfully. Our administration, like other public religious festivals, will continue to provide universal support for the celebration of baptism to be completed with great splendor and peace.
