The Ontoto-Kebena riverside project in brief: Today, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed officially inaugurated the infrastructure of this huge project, the main ones are as follows; - River development: 1 major dam, 16 minor dams, 3 check dams and 20.2 km of retaining wall. - Riverside development: 36,928 square meters of soil and ecosystem protection works (conso gabions and terraces). - Green development: 59.7 hectares of green cover and 50,330 planted trees. - Integrated infrastructure: 21 pedestrian bridges, 33.2 km of internal roads, drainage line and 7 parking spaces for 695 vehicles.
