Speaking at the meeting, Chief of Lafto Sub-District Police, Commander Arage Eshete, who spoke at the meeting, said that it is necessary to cooperate, help and work together to create a peaceful environment by preventing crime in advance. In the 2018 fiscal year, the security work was done in cooperation with various organizations and institutions in the district, with the youth and members of the Peace Corps, as well as with the community, Commander Arage said. He also thanked those who contributed to this success. The chief pointed out that the police will continue to strengthen its activities in order to prevent crime in the future without any security threats. He conveyed his message that the society should strengthen the support it has been doing so far in the security work and confirm its partnership.
