The Roads Authority of Addis Ababa announced that in the first six months of the fiscal year, road infrastructure damage estimated at more than 4.8 million birr was caused due to vehicle collisions. It has been stated that 181 collision accidents that occurred in the last 6 months caused damage to road resources. Among these collision accidents, 59 accidents occurred on the ring road and 122 collisions occurred outside the ring road, according to the authority's data. Some of the road resources damaged by vehicle collisions include street light poles, traffic signals, direction and distance indicator boards, pedestrian barriers, road divider walls and manhole covers. 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇
