Mr. Milkesa Lema, director of transport services at the Yeka Transport branch office, said that the purpose of knowing the number of taxis is to help improve service delivery by strictly controlling vehicles that do not cover the route.
In the census, the number of minibus taxis in use by the Sun and Zebra Taxi Association was counted. During the count, the director explained to us that the service provider posted the 2016 sticker on the right side of the vehicle confirming that they are a member of the association, the existence of a legal tape, and the posting of a renewed bolo.
On the next day, a count of the number of Code 1 taxis under the New Life Taxi Association will be conducted.
