Chairman of the Standing Committee on Infrastructure and Transport Affairs of the Addis Ababa City Council Mr. Kenfe presented the results obtained by the Transport Bureau and the responsible institutions in a document.
Regarding the coordinated system of the document, he stated that the sector should be updated with technology, there should be a smooth flow of traffic and proper control of the competence of driver and vehicle training institutions.
The main points mentioned by the standing committee in the observation of public transport service delivery are the problems of good governance, line interruption, distribution and control system, charging more than the tariff, lack of service spirit and other service delivery problems observed in the sector.
Finally, the head of the Addis Ababa Transport Bureau, Mr. Yabbal Addis, stated that the bureau will work to provide efficient and accessible services that are suitable for the rapid development of the city.
