The authority gave training to public transport drivers

(February 15/2016 AD):- According to the plan of Addis Ababa City Administration Traffic Management Authority to provide training to public transport drivers, today 125 public transport drivers received training on professional ethics, safe driving and transport control regulation number 395/2009. He has given. In the 2nd round, public transport drivers were presented with 3 documents on the mentioned topics in collaboration with the authority's road safety capacity building directorate and branch offices. During the training, he observed that public service drivers should be role models for other drivers by knowing the primary causes of collisions and avoiding accidents. In other words, it was pointed out that they should do their part to ensure road safety by not driving over the speed limit and drinking alcohol, by wearing seat belts and by not driving while talking on mobile phones and other causes of conflict. During the training, Mr. Kfle G/Mariam, a veteran driver who drove for 56 years without causing an accident, shared his experience with the trainees. It is recalled that the authority provided the same training to about 350 Addis Ababa city bus service company drivers in the 1st round. The official road safety capacity building directorate in cooperation with the branch offices, public transport drivers have presented 3 documents on the mentioned topics. During the training it has been observed that public service drivers as public transport providers should be a role model to other drivers by knowing the causes of conflict and driving in order to prevent accidents. It has also been pointed out that not driving above the speed limit and drinking alcohol, wearing a seat belt and driving while using a mobile phone and other causes of conflict should play your part in ensuring the safety of the road. During the training, Mr. Kifle G/Mariam, a senior driver has been driving without causing an accident for 56 years and sharing his experience with the trainers, many ideas and comments were presented from the coaches.
