6 over 2 km long traffic bridges have been constructed and opened for traffic.
Addis Ababa, April 1, 2016: The Addis Ababa City Roads Authority has opened 6 traffic bridges with a length of more than 2 kilometers in different areas of the city.
The traffic flow has been significantly improved since these traffic crossing bridges built at the major intersections of the ring road and on the Kaliti-Tulu Dimtu road, which were previously experiencing heavy traffic congestion, have been put into service.
The drawbridges are 50 meters to 600 meters long and 20 to 50 meters wide.
These traffic crossing bridges include those built by Imperial, Bole Michael and Lebu, including those constructed at Kaliti Training Area, Tirunesh Beijing Hospital area and commonly known as Garry Bridge on the Kaliti-Tulu Domtu Road Project.
