Awareness training was given regarding the role of the media in preventing corruption and ethical considerations ****************************** (T/B February 10/2018):- Addis Ababa Traffic Management Authority Ethics and Anti-corruption Monitoring Directorate on the topics of the role of media in preventing corruption and ethical considerations in conflicts for center directors, team leaders and branches He gave awareness training to the professionals represented by the offices today. The director Mr. Tuli Merga presented a detailed idea on the nature of corruption, special features of corruption, types of corruption, manifestations, causes, damage caused by corruption, solutions and prevention strategies of corruption. According to Mr. Tuli, corruption is a crime that affects everyone, and the means of execution are constantly changing and becoming more sophisticated. He said that although there are many issues that cause it to happen, the media has a big role to play in fighting this changing behavior and it is the primary task to educate the society and the workers through different media. He said that preventing corruption means making the necessary preparations before a situation or action or problem occurs and causes large-scale damage. Mr. Tuli said that prevention of corruption at the institutional level starts with the employee respecting government work hours and performing duties properly in the field of work he is assigned to. In addition, the director presented a document on the nature, types, aspects and related issues of conflict of interest and the participants commented that the society should be constantly reminded, awakened and warned about the economic, social and political losses of corruption.
