The work of replacing the square with a traffic light was started by removing the square located near Bole Michael Church
Addis Ababa, November 21, 2016; Addis Ababa City Roads Authority is carrying out traffic flow improvement works by implementing different solutions depending on the actual situation of the areas to solve the problem of traffic congestion at the intersections of the city.
At present, the square behind Bole Michael Church is one of the areas where work is being done to replace the square with traffic lights.
This traffic improvement work, which started last night, is linked to the Klinto-Bulbula-Bole Michael road network and helps to handle the increasing traffic pressure in the area properly and quickly.
Although the problem of traffic congestion that used to occur at the Bole Michael road junction has been solved with the construction of a huge traffic bridge. Due to the ongoing traffic congestion in the square behind Bole Michael Church, the traffic flow improvement work needed to be carried out.
Stating that the authority office will complete the traffic flow improvement work in a short period of time and make it completely open to traffic by working during periods when there is not much traffic activity, the authority office urges the users of the road to cooperate as necessary. @Addis Ababa City Roads Authority ·
