A movement to give education to pedestrians who use the road as they are vulnerable to accidents has been started

(January 30/2016):- Addis Ababa Traffic Management Authority Lemi Kura branch office is giving awareness training to pedestrians to prevent traffic collisions caused by pedestrians' road use mistakes. The awareness campaign was started in Goro Square, where pedestrians who cross the square inappropriately were identified and collected, and they were given awareness lessons so that they could use the road appropriately. In addition to the road usage lesson, Rule No. 395/2009 describes the offenses committed by pedestrians and the types of penalties that result. The branch office carried out the task together with the traffic control and rule enforcement directorate of the authority, the members of the traffic control division of the district and the volunteer traffic management youth. The awareness program will be intensified at pedestrian crossings and high traffic areas.
