According to the information of the World Health Organization and the Ministry of Health, there are currently conditions that allow the breath test to be carried out, so the control will be carried out continuously without interruption.
Data shows that most traffic accidents in Ethiopia are caused by drunk driving. In order to reduce this problem, Ato Ayaleu said that breath control is important so that individuals who drink too much and drive are held accountable by law.
The director reminded that the authority has been making preparations to control those who drink too much alcohol and drive in a strict manner. The director said that the control will be carried out with 75 modern alcohol detection devices and adequate training has been given to the concerned parties regarding its use.
