A road traffic safety awareness training program was held for managers and ministers from various religious institutions *********** (September 11/2017):- Addis Ababa Traffic Management Authority Road Safety Awareness and Capability The Directorate of Construction gave road traffic safety awareness training to the managers and ministers of religious institutions from various religious institutions in the city. Mr. Alemseged, who is a consultant in the authority's office, was present at the forum, and by providing training to religious leaders and working together to convey messages to the faithful in their religious institutions, and by creating a society with a developed understanding of road traffic safety, his contribution to the process of reducing the risk in a meaningful way is outstanding, the consultant said. Among the issues explored in the document, traffic accidents and their causes, pedestrians becoming more prone to traffic accidents, the obligations and responsibilities expected of pedestrians to reduce accidents, road traffic accidents at the international, continental, national level and in our city. Information showing the damage to human life and body as well as property and the contribution of religious leaders in reducing traffic accidents are cited. After the presentation of the document, the participants raised various ideas and questions about the document and to help reduce traffic accidents in the city, and a wide discussion was held. Finally, Inspector Tamru, who is the head of coordination of public relations and community department of Addis Ababa Police Commission, together with the director of the road safety awareness and capacity building directorate of the official office, Ato Brehanu Kuma, gave answers and explanations about the suggestions and questions raised by the participants. In particular, they concluded the day's training program by promising that they will take all their issues as an input to reduce future traffic accidents and work in coordination.
