In the 4th regular meeting of the 5th year of our city council, we approved the 2019 budget of our city administration as 502.27 billion birr. Accordingly, 71.53% of the budget will be used mainly for poverty reduction, sustainable development and growth oriented sectors (capital expenditure). For administrative expenses:- Birr 142.97 billion (25.27%) for reserve expenses:- Birr 16.00 billion (3.18%) was unanimously approved. The 2019 budget has an increase of 152.26 billion birr (43.5%) compared to last year. The budget has been earmarked to further increase the city's development needs and service level, and will be used to strengthen the development and good management activities that have been started.
