The directorate held a discussion on the performance report of the half fiscal year **** (T/B January 14/2018) :- The Directorate of Parking and Road Traffic Infrastructure Management, the authority of Addis Ababa Traffic Management, together with the directors of the 11 branch offices, held a discussion on the six-month performance report of the department. The director, Ato Binyam Getachew, presented the report and the implementation plan for activities to be carried out with special attention for the next six months. In the report, they raised points such as getting new vehicle parking spaces developed in the corridor to get ownership certificate, taking over and transferring the completed vehicle parking spaces and setting up roadside parking service areas. He also mentioned the implementation of 180 associations to organize a database/display information of parking spaces in GIS (spatial and attribute information), to modernize the collection of parking fees. In addition, they presented an implementation plan for activities to be carried out with special attention in the next six months. The participants of the discussion raised their opinions and questions on the presented report and the next works, especially if they should be included in the plan for the next 6 months and should be improved.
