Prohibited roads for construction and cargo vehicles were announced ********************** Addis Ababa, February 5, 2016 (FBC) to facilitate traffic flow for the African Union Leaders Summit. Addis Ababa Police has announced the roads prohibited for construction and cargo vehicles. Addis Ababa Police mentioned that the beauty of the roads is deteriorating and their service life is being shortened due to the violation of rules by construction vehicles and machines operated by the operator, apart from destroying the roads without cleaning their tires. Therefore, in order to prevent traffic accidents on the road by enforcing traffic laws and regulations, in order to have a healthy flow of traffic, as well as to create a favorable environment for the security work of the African Union Assembly that will be held in the capital in the coming days, in the following ways, namely: – Bole Bridge area – From Bole Bridge to Rwanda Bridge From Bole Bridge in Wolo Sefer Dunbel Square to Cross Square • From Cross Square to four kilometers • From Urail Square to Atlas Hotel • From Intercontinental Hotel to Development Bank • Four kilometers to Ambassador Park • From National Theater to Mexico Square • From Mexico Square to the African Union traffic light and • From Africa Union traffic light has stated that driving or stopping of heavy construction and cargo vehicles is prohibited until alternative information is transmitted on the roads up to the Bulgarian roundabout. Addis Ababa Police urged drivers to use other alternative routes and announced that they will take necessary action against those found violating this.
