550 volunteer assistant student traffic coordinators from 84 schools that are vulnerable to traffic accidents were graduated. (January 3/2017 AD) Addis Ababa City Transport Office and responsible institutions in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and Logistics to exchange experience in the transport sector, in the presence of the members of the group of regional transport managers who were present in our capital, 550 assistant student traffic policemen trained by the Addis Ababa City Administration Traffic Management Authority today. They graduated today. The Authority, in collaboration with the Addis Ababa Police Commission, gave voluntary students from 84 schools that are vulnerable to traffic accidents in the city a theoretical and practical training on road safety and basic road traffic management, and graduated from Applied Opportunities Polytechnic College, Gibi. The graduating students will conduct traffic management work during school entrance and exit hours, road safety awareness campaigns at their respective schools, and traffic management work in their residential areas on holidays and vacations.
