Parking spaces under buildings used for other purposes in Bole sub-city were sealed • 143 buildings were repaired and used for vehicle parking ****************** (T/M/B) December 20/2018 Buildings in Bole sub-city are allowed to use their basement spaces for parking, Addis Ababa City Administration Traffic Management authority Bole announced that the office has started packing today. According to the manager of the branch office, Ato Brook Waqiwa, the building owners have been repeatedly warned in writing and verbally to return to the legal system to use their basement properties for their intended purpose, but for not making adjustments, 5 of them were sealed today. According to Rule No. 165/2016, although fines have been imposed on the owners who are found guilty, Mr. Brook said that the measures have been started in cooperation with the peace and order enforcement offices of the district to seal the basements of the builders who refuse to fix it. He pointed out that action will be taken against those who use their buildings for business and various services outside of their intended purpose and aggravate the parking problem of the sub-city. On the other hand, there are 143 building owners who accepted the warning and made adjustments, Mr. Brook reminded.
