It is known that the Addis Ababa Traffic Management Authority is an institution that is performing its role of determining, informing, improving, implementing and controlling the use of roads in Addis Ababa city in accordance with the powers and functions given by law at the center and all 11 branch offices. One of the main tasks they perform to ensure peaceful and safe traffic in the city is road traffic control at 11 branch offices. According to this, a dispute between a driver and the official traffic control specialist was filmed and circulated on social media in a place commonly known as 40/60 neighborhood in Lemi Kura sub-district, at approximately 9:30 on December 23, 2018. In the moving picture, the driver says that he was separated from him, and the control worker of the Lemi Kura branch office of the institution is seen opening the vehicle and then closing the door. The regulator informs that the institution will take legal action as the option taken to enforce the law is not supported by the institution.
