Training was given to volunteer traffic organizers at Kotebe Education University. The main objective of the training is to understand the cause of traffic accidents and to respond appropriately to the problem, so that the role of higher institutions is important, so that they can do their part, and it aims to give the young people who are involved in traffic management with good will to have sufficient understanding of their work. The training was given by Mr. Barnabas Hailu and Mr. Tesfaye Berhe, who are the team leaders of the directorate. In the presented document, the 2018 6-month traffic rule violation numbers, death and property damage report, basic points to ensure road safety and the so-called road safety pillars, international road safety facts, and the role of higher institutions in road safety were given a wide explanation. In addition, the concept of volunteering, the fields in which volunteering is practiced, the social and psychological benefits of volunteering, the economic benefits and political benefits, and the experience of volunteering internationally in Ethiopia and at the city level have been surveyed. Finally, the participants presented their thoughts and opinions on the documents presented in terms of institutional coordination and strengthening working relationships, and the program was completed after sufficient responses and explanations were given from the platform.
