"The road infrastructure developed in the city through corridor development has created a favorable environment for transportation and traffic movement" • Mr. Kbebew Mideksa, Director General of Addis Ababa Traffic Management Authority **************************** (T/M/B January 07/2018) :- Addis Ababa Traffic Management Authority has given 5 consecutive rounds of training to 860 traffic supervisors and traffic management staff. Today, when it was completed at the Adwa Museum Hall, the director general of the club Mideksa said that the infrastructure developed in the city has made the traffic movement comfortable. Mr. Kbebeu mentioned that this is of great help to the achievement of the institution's vision. He stated that with the construction of the infrastructure, more than 50 taxi terminals, 167 parking stops, more than 40 loading and unloading facilities and the best wide roads have been created. He reminded that the institution won the city an award for its traffic management last year, especially for speed management, and said that it is working hard to continue this result in the current fiscal year. He recalled that in order to strengthen traffic control, which is one of the key tasks to ensure road safety, in the past few weeks, 860 control workers have been given training on the legal framework of road transport traffic control, traffic control procedures and professional ethics. In today's summary program, Dr. Mehret Debebe, a well-known mind trainer in the field of customer-oriented service, including traffic police members, will give the training and he also announced the official start of the training program. The Mindset trainer, Dr. Mehret Debebem, gave an explanation to the traffic control staff and traffic police members on how to coordinate service delivery with the institution's vision, mission and values. They gave a wide explanation about customer-oriented work, customer-oriented mind scanning, customer-oriented basic issues, customer behavior and customer type, professional ethics and building an institution's image. In particular, Dr. Mehret said that traffic laws and regulations are enforced for the safety of the user and that the role of traffic inspectors should be maximized to create a citizen who understands the seriousness of traffic accidents and can reach his desired place at his desired time by obeying the law. The participants of the training said that such trainings are important for work and if they are given in a continuous manner, it will help them to provide effective services. Finally, the General Director Ato Kbebewu Mideksa indicated that capacity building trainings will be provided to help with work and set the next work direction.
