The three directions of the government's attention Federal Government Communication Service The government is working on three main issues to strengthen the nation building process and ensure universal prosperity. Building democracy, strengthening institutions and creating national consensus. These three pillars are the key foundations for national unity, peace and prosperity, and for citizens to have a shared vision based on trust and accountability. The process of building democracy is an important task for a country, and it mainly focuses on establishing free, independent and competent institutions. The government is paying special attention to this issue as it is important to protect the laws and procedures that govern the institutions, the structure and organization of the institutions, as well as their credibility to the public. The government firmly understands that a strong democratic culture and system is built when strong democratic institutions are created and strengthened. Thus, Ethiopia has been carrying out universal reform activities in the process of building democratic institutions in the last 7 years. These reforms show how committed the government is to building independent and strong democratic institutions that will determine the country's future. The strengthening of these institutions is considered as the main pillar to ensure sustainable peace and development in a country. Especially since the national revolution, the concrete changes in democratic institutions are considered as important steps to protect human and democratic rights, as well as to strengthen the faith of the people. The government, especially by increasing institutional capacity and ensuring freedom, is not only obliged to expand the democratic environment, but the world has done it to create a context and framework for democracy to flourish. In order to achieve this goal, especially the security, justice, civil and media institutions, as well as the National Election Board, have been supported by the government to work as the center of the people. Another issue that the government is focusing on is creating a national consensus as a country. The main goal of this process is for the entire population, institutions, leadership and workers to build common development with different voices on the national vision to ensure national peace and prosperity and create trust and national unity among citizens. In this sense, Ethiopia has made political reforms to create a political environment where the voice of the masses can be heard. In this way, a national discussion forum has been created by establishing a national consultation commission to narrow down and bring together the conflicting ideas that have been seen by governments that have not been tried until now. With this, many changes are already being seen and the decision is considered as a cornerstone for the realization of the prosperous Ethiopia that we wish for. In general, the government continues to focus on building democracy, strengthening institutions and creating national consensus in its multifaceted efforts to create a strong and prosperous Ethiopia by its children.
