(February 15/2016 AD) Addis Ababa City Traffic Management Authority has done various road improvement painting works in Adawa Victory Memorial Museum and around the City Administration Mayor's Office. As stated by the authority from the Directorate of Road Safety Engineering, 3852 meters of broken line, 1792.5 meters of unbroken yellow solid line and 69.25 square meters of pedestrian crossing road paint line have been constructed in the mentioned places and areas. The lines from Degol Square to the monument of Menelik II; From Degol Square to Abune Petros Square; From Menilik II Monument to Arada Building, from Abune Petros Statue to Churchill Street Light, a white road color line was painted, and pedestrian crossings were painted at the Pan-African Entrance and West Heroes Gate. The information obtained from the directorate indicates that the total cost of painting works is more than 800 thousand birr. As stated by the authorities from the road safety engineering directorate, 3852 meters of cut line, 1792.5 meters of yellow uncut solid line and 69.25 square meters of pedestrian crossing road painting work has been done. The lines are from Degol Square to Menelik II Memorial; from Degol square to Abune Petros Square; from Menelik II Monument to Arada Building; the light on the way from Abune Petros Statue to Churchill, and the pedestrian crossing at Pan African entrance and Western Heroes Gate has been painted.
