The service ticket of Anbasa and Sheger buses is going to be changed from tomorrow
Addis Ababa; March 17/2016 (ESA): Addis Ababa City Bus Service Organization has announced that the utility tickets of Anbesa and Sheger city buses will be changed from tomorrow.
Addis Ababa City Bus Service Organization announced in a statement sent to ESA that the transport utility tickets of Anbasa and Sheger buses will be changed from tomorrow.
He announced that works are being carried out to streamline the operation and expand the accessibility of the public transport service.
He mentioned that it is necessary to change the tickets for this and announced that it will be implemented according to the transport tariff per kilometer issued by the capital's transport office.
Therefore, he said, the tickets used by the buses in the past will be changed to 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 birr.
According to this, from February 19, 2016, the new ticket changed by both organizations will be fully operational.
It was also pointed out that the ticket that will be used in a new form will have a different color from the existing one, a uniform price, and a secret identifier.
It is said that modern procedures are being activated to increase the satisfaction of the society and soon a payment collection technology that directly prints and sells tickets called Handheld ticket terminal will be put into use.
It is known that Anbesa City Bus and Sheger Mass Transport Service Organizations have been merged according to Proclamation No. 74/2015.
