The authority office evaluated the joint work performance of the stakeholders in 2016 and signed a memorandum of understanding on the activities to be carried out in the 2017 fiscal year (T/M.A. August 18/2016). A document of agreement was signed on the activities to be carried out in the current fiscal year after reviewing activities. The Director General of Addis Ababa Traffic Management Authority, Ato Kbebew Mideksa, said in the same program that in the last fiscal year, it was possible to reduce traffic accidents in the city by working together with stakeholders. The Director General, who stated that the role of stakeholders is important to ensure road safety, emphasized that the group should be strengthened in 2017. Mr. Goytom Asfaw, director of the authority's service delivery monitoring and support directorate, presented a document indicating the activities and future focus of the 2016 fiscal year. On the presented document, the ideas and opinions of the stakeholders of the authority office from 13 institutions were presented and the questions were answered and explained from the platform. It was possible to sign a memorandum of understanding with the stakeholders after discussing the activities that should be focused on in the 2017 fiscal year to ensure better road safety and to make the flow peaceful. Finally, the program was completed by giving recognition certificates to the stakeholders who were working with the institution.
