Road safety education was given to Addis Ababa city cleaning management agency workers

(T/M/B March 25/2016):- Addis Ababa City Administration Traffic Management Authority has provided training on road safety to more than 480 workers from the Addis Ababa City Administration Cleaning Agency.
Ato Dereje Warku, the leader of the traffic control team of the authority, said that the cleaners were trained on road safety and appropriate road use, the international aspect of road traffic accidents, current information on traffic accidents in the city, how to protect yourself from traffic collisions, and so on. .
Mr. Dereje, who said that cleaning workers in every agency are often exposed to accidents, said that employees have been given education to protect themselves from traffic collisions while they are at their workplaces.
He said that the authority office is working with stakeholders to prevent and reduce road traffic accidents in our city and we will continue to provide awareness training on road traffic safety to organized members of the society.
Finally, the trainees of the agency stated that the preparation of the awareness program is encouraging and should be strengthened and they confirmed that they will apply the lessons learned from the training.
