The weekly “road for people” program was held in 11 selected places in the city

(T/MA/BA/May 04/2016 A.D.) :- The weekly vehicle-free day/road for people/ in 11 selected places in the city from 12:00 am to 6:00 pm organized by Addis Ababa City Administration Traffic Management Authority. It has been done. In the program, various sports activities were carried out with the help of road safety awareness. In particular, in the special program organized by the official office, from the Minister of Mines to Salitemhret, the leaders of the center and the village were present. In the remaining 10 places, as usual, residents of the city, from children to the elderly, of both sexes participated. Football game, skating, cycling and training, rope jumping, aerobics, mass sport and other sports activities that are useful for developing physical fitness were also conducted. The main objective of the Roads for People program is to encourage alternative transport, reduce traffic collisions, create a pollution-free atmosphere and strengthen the solidarity and unity of the city's residents. In the program, there are sports activities that are useful to develop physical abilities and aided by road safety awareness. Especially in the official office, Yeka branch office, in the special program prepared from the minister of mines to salitemeheret, children's games called primitive childhood have been seen in the presence of the leaders of the center and sub-city. As usual in the remaining 10 places, residents of the city from both sexes from children to old age groups have participated. Football games, skating, cycling and training, jumping rope, aerobics, mass sport and other sports activities that help to develop physical fitness were also held. The main objective of the Road to Human program is to encourage alternative transportation, reduce traffic conflicts, create pollution-free air and strengthen the coexistence and unity of city dwellers. ·
