Capacity building awareness training on gender and HIV mainstreaming was provided.

(May 08/2016):- Addis Ababa Traffic Management Authority's Gender and HIV Mainstreaming Focal Person collaborates with Addis Ababa Health Office to increase awareness
Mrs. Hawa Wabi, the head of the administration and finance office of the authority, said that the issue of gender and HIV should be of concern to us today, both individually and as a city and as an institution, and we should do the same. Just like all the others, the issue is being worked on in our office by mainstreaming or including it, and the employee should help in every possible way, the head added.
On that day, a trainer invited from the health office about gender, especially HIV transmission, prevention and treatment, as well as mainstreaming, presented a document to the participating workers and held a discussion. The employee unanimously agreed to pledge to provide permanent support from their salary to families and orphans affected by traffic accidents and HIV.
The training was given by the authority office to the central staff and focal persons selected from the branch offices, and it was pointed out from the forum that the same training program will be given to the staff in the 11 branch offices in a hierarchical manner.
